first up, diving in pulau aur. i got my diving licence there! ok, it's just basic open water, i can only go down to 18m max, and i can't dive at night or in caves, but wth, it's a start right? people involved, scott, daniel, ziming, and george the instructor. plus the few others i met along the way over there, whose names i never asked. like the finnish lady diving with us, the fat old man taking underwater photos, and the cool guy who gave us bread to feed fishes underwater.

by the way. i'd like to add that diving is cool, but diving in m'sia's tiring. like, i leave on friday 7pm, get stuck at the causeway, drive to mersing by 11pm, and finally get on the boat to aur at about 2am. of course, the boat leaves at 3, and takes 3 hours to get there. so we sleep at 6, wake at 8, and dive at 10. and on the way back, we reached mersing at 4pm on sunday, but had to wait till about 7pm for the speedboat to come get us cos the tide was too low. grrr.

oh well, enough bitching. all the wait's well worth it, i assure you. now for the photos, which scott provided since i didn't dare bring my camera, and none of us can take underwater photos. yet.
