Diving is...
- Team Torpedoz and rediscovering Torpedo Point
- getting narked and surfacing with 10 bar to spare
- spending 2 hours searching for Pinnacles just to fight the currents
- blindly finning towards the sound of a tankbanger underwater
- freezing through the thermoclimes
- drifting through a field of corals and staghorns
- hovering among a school of swirling barracuda
- swimming through a school of jacks and trevallies
- coming face to face with a cuttlefish
- snapping shots of every nudibranch
- chasing turtles for that perfect shot
- standing on the bow of the boat watching a pod of dolphins
- jumping into the water from the top deck of the boat
- snorkelling and searching for wrecks between dives

and although it's mainly about the marine life, sun, sand and sea (and much beach bumming), ultimately diving is still about the company. friends who will help you pack up the mahjong table even though they're not very sober themselves, who can fill in the time chatting through those long bus and boat rides and keep each other entertained between dives with crazy antics. friends with that same mad passion for diving and who're willing to throw money into the sea buying dive gear and going for trips. sometimes, for all it's simplicity, sebukang bay really is a good place to chill and relax with the divers. and just laze in the sun. or talk about life *grin*
anyway...photos. not many captions, cos i'm tired. but right now, very content.
I decided to start an album for nudibranchs...
My fishie shots...
