because anything beats studying.

and so it is, that time of year, when you take the brain out of cold storage and dust off the cobwebs, and...spend your days watching anime and lameass flash movies.

random musings from clt readings. hopefully this helps in the mugging frenzy.
(warning. brain is bored. hence. very lame. and random. do not comment)

- legal traditions like the chthonic teach you how to live a life. the fray teaches you how to save one.
- karma is what we do in life, good karma gives you mahjong winnings and helps avoid speed traps, bad karma, well, you don't want to know.
- time is an envelope, not a race or a river, so why is everyone rushing to mug?
- again on time, if it's an envelope, can it be posted and giftwrapped for christmas? cos i need a bit more of it.
- i like the chthonic tradition, it interweaves law and life and tradition and society and religion and time into one big mess. no definition, it just is. very zen.
- also very confusing.
- but if we all subscribe to that school of thought, and be one with nature, the trees and the animals and the whole big envelope of time and all, then there's no need for us to take clt anymore, cos we'll all be happy and zenny. without understanding why or how. sounds abit stoned to me. but hey, if it works, why complain?

on a separate note, and because i'm lazy to repost on the same day, i learnt today that law students on a whole are addicted to caffeine. how else to explain the strange phenomenon i saw today, that mysterious trail of coffee droplets that extended a short while and inexplicably vanished? it must have been one of those zombie-like figures, short on sleep from overnight mugging, who ambled in a daze with a cup full of coffee powder to the hot water dispenser, then, as he wandered off, his hands trembling from withdrawal and spilling droplets of the precious liquid, he took a sip, instantly revived, and his hands steadied. no other reason makes sense. oh and btw. the cleaning staff are really efficient. cos the elusive trail vanished with nary a trace by the time i went to the canteen and back. or maybe, it's another mystery waiting to be solved...

p.s. ok sorry veryveryvery bored so bear with me until more photos and holidays beckon.

wen was dreaming at 5:18 PM
