corn maze

so yesterday, i went on one of those orientationish field trips, took a ferry with 100 other international students to wolfe island (which is this large island on lake ontario, largely farmland and countryside, and apparently there's a boat on the other end of the island that goes to the US). went there, took a haywagon ride to a farm, where there was steak burger (i.e. hamburger) and we proceeded to frolic in the cornfields thereafter (okay, more like it was a maze, we went in and got pleasantly lost for hours, and then the sun set and things got more interesting) reminded me awfully of signs, and cornfields at night are rather freaky. then i realised that the nights in canada get rather cold, because i left my jacket at home and the ride back was wayyyy windy. (everyone was bundled up in jackets and scarves and shivering, and the brave idiot singaporean was trying to hide from the wind and hide his teeth chattering)

so, without further ado, random loads of photos of the whole trip yesterday.
