dear friends
today, kingston is a warm sunny 10 degrees! projected to hit 18 tonight and 20 degrees tomorrow noon...i kinda miss my cool weather now.on a side note, fuel prices have risen by 20 cents over here (that makes for a 20% increase per litre), which makes me glad i booked most of my flights already.
90 hours to study before my first paper, and 45 hours to study for my second paper after that. i'm starting to worry, just a tad.

law students are still law students, wherever they are
so apparently, we're not all that different from law students throughout the world, if my queens mailbox this morning was any indication:throw in snippets from email extracts like those below and i feel right at home again.
"As many of you have probably noticed, the Lederman library has recently been infested by SNAILS (students not actually in law school). The result has been that many law students can't find a place to sit and the ones who can have a much harder time getting a laptop outlet.
What to do....
Notwithstanding that the library is an open and public space, I believe that law students ought to retain priority over non-law students in the LAW library. Thus I propose that during this exam period all students entering the library must first present their student card . No "Law", no Lederman. "
FOLLOWED BY
"If I need to show my student card to get into the library I am going to fight somebody.
Sincerely,

AND MY PERSONAL FAV
"Awwww... muffin...
Did somebody not get a seat in the libwawy?"
maybe nus law should have a law mailing list. just for the heck of it.

over too soon
so it's been a year of exchange, which was actually more like 8 months, and it seems like almost yesterday that i left. so just for fun, my schedule for the next 2 weeks or so (since my parents are visiting):April
6-8th => Toronto
8-10th => Montreal
10-12th => Quebec
12-13th => Boston
13-16th => NYC
16-18th => Kingston
18-25th => study and take exams
25th => off to London and begin Europe tripping!
so it's essentially a trip to say hi to my parents before travelling for 2 more months, as well as a sort of goodbye to all the places I've visited this past year (8months!), and also an excuse to send most of my luggage back home. although i vaguely suspect i will die for human rights since i have a sem's worth of cases and readings to do and the stupid tutor just sent us the case list a week back.
oh, and since no post is complete without a few photos at least, here're some random snapshots from my last few trips.
